Cattle.— There was a good- yarding of 326 forward. Good bullocks were scarce- and sold at fair praces, whilst' medium and inferior brought about the same as last we*. Best bullocks £8 to £9 15s medium *7 tr, pi 17q M lieht £4 10s to £6 12s 6d, best cows £8 1* M, meXm £5 5s to £7 2s 6d, light £3 10s -to £4 10s. . „,*-,++,. Sheep —1247 penne* ; a fair yarding but of bettei quality than last week. The price of /best wethers was better by 2s ' per bead, and of best ewes by 3s per head than those ru'idng last week. Prime wethers /Is to 245, extra up to 265, medium 18s to 20s, ligj*-" 14 s to 17s 6d, prime ewes 17s to 19s, extra, up to 40s 3d medium 14 s Cd to 16s 6d, light 10s 9d to 13s 6d. - - Pigs —80 forward. Porters and baconers were iirmer. Suckers 9s to Us, slips 12s to 15s 6uy stores 17s to 20s, porkers 35s to 435,, light baconers 48s to 535, heavy do. 5"6s to 60s. - i ■ Lamfbs.— 6oo penned ,* a fair- yarding. Good quality - lambs were sliejhitly firmer, whilst light and interior showed a small .drop on last week's rates. Prime lambs 16s 3d to 17s ~6d, (medium Us 6d to 16s, 4nfp.i>ior 6s 9d to 12s. A pen of extra, show lambs brought 20s 3d.
