When she was ready- to start, Mrs. McJones wired her hushamd as follows :— ' Lares and Penates on board boat. Will arrive 1 tomorrow morning.' But when the telegram, got to the husband, i<£ was in these terms :—: — ' Lard and peanuts on board boat. Will arrive, tomorrow morning.'
