Father Hunt desires to thank most heartily all the clergy and laity who have so generously subscribed to the Memorial Church of the Irish Martyrs. The building, as will- be seen by the* accompanying illustration, is well under way. r Jhe nresent contract, which does not include ceiling or plastering, but merely '- all the external wor'f, amounts io nearly £17>"0. To meet this thfire is £1100 cash in hand, of which amount £300 was left by the late Father James McGrath, and the . rest was given by generous subscribers, clerical and lay. We h<ve every confidence,, from the earnest, manner in which the work has hcrnr „ taken up by' Irish "men ; and women far and near, that the undertake? will be- a pronounced and complete success.
