At the Empire Hotel, Wellington, on February 18, a dinner was given by- the officers of St. Patrick's College Old Boys' Association in honor of Mr. Robert Hayward, of Christchurch, one of the vice-presidents .of the Association. Those present included the President , (Very Rev. Father Keogh), and the vice-presidents .and members df the executive committee of the Association. The fol-. lowing -tdarats wene amongst those honorefd • — ' The Kinr,' •' Our Guest,' c Our President,' ' Our Cricket and Hockey Clubs.' Mention -was made of the good services in the interests of tin Association in Christchurch rendered by Mr. Havward, and also .to the success achieved by college students -in recent public examination's.
