There was a large attendance at St. Mary's " Convent School when the annual entertainment and distribution of prizes took place (says " the Hokitika ' Guardian '). The accompaniments were supplied by Miss E. Daly. Father Aiibry exnressed his anpreciatirn at the Knd attendance of the Mayor, and then went on to refer *to the good work of the Sisters. Mr. H. L.
