St. Patrick's College Annual Sports

* (From our Wellington correspondent.) The St. Patrick's College annual sports > meeting was held on the Basin Reserve on 'Monday of "last week. > All conditions were favorable, " and a good day's sport resulted. In the afternoon there was a' large attendance of friends, including many ladies. ' His Excellency Lord Plun&et was present for some time. The only school record broken during the afternoon _ was that for the I,2oyds Hurdles, J. Stewart" covering the distance in 17 3-ssec, one second less than the previous fastest -time. The College Championship was won' by 'A. Cullen,' with 16 points, J. W. Stewart coming next with 14 points. The other entrants, T. O'Rourke and R.
