In the practical examinations held here on the 71 1 inst. Wy Mr. T. F. Dunhill, in connection wiih the Associated 'Boalrd of the Royal College of Music, some of our Catholic teachers obtained excellent results, about half of their pupils being from the Sacred Heart Convent. The chief results are as folJow :— Pianoforte— Advanced, Gwendoline Vavasour and Mina Ward ; intermediate, P. King ; his/her division, Blanche Vavaaour and Annie "Ward (Miss E. McGuinness). Pianoforte— Lcwer division, Miriam Homfray (Miss Fitzgerald). Pianoforte—Elementary, Myrtle I lays (Miss Sugrue).
