Messrs. Whitaker Bros., Wellington and Greymouth, have just received a number of copies of the Very Rev. Dr. O'Riordan's great work, ' Catholicity and Progress in Ireland,' which is the ablest work on the subject dealt with that lias been published for many years. ' A few months ago the book was noticed at some length in these pages, and a more extended Notice will probably appear next week. The same firm- has received a supply of Rev. Father Benson's latest works, IBy what Authority ' and ' The King's Achievement,' both of which are very popular. Messrs.
