The object of the Marißt Fathers in this country, as in their colleges in Europe and America, is to impart to their pupils a thoroughly Religious and a sound Literary education, which will enable them in after-life to dischar ge their duties with honour to Religion uid Sooiety, and with credt and advantage to themselves. Students are prepared for the N.Z. University Junior and Senior Civil Service, Medical Entrance, Solicitors' General Knowledge, Bank and all other Public Examinations. A well-appointed Infirmary attached to the College is under the oharge of the Sißtera of Compassion, from whom in case of £11nesa all students receive the most tender and devoted care, and who at all times pay particular attention to the younger and more lelioate pupils, who without Buoh care would find the absence of home oomfortß very trying.
