St. Benedict's bazaar, which remained open all last week, was continued for three days of this week. The financial results are considered good. The committee worked very hard, and their labours have been rewarded.. His Lordship the Bishop was at Te Aroha last Sunday, where he laid the foundation stone of the new school. Rev. Father McCiuiness has not been long in getting to work in his new parish. The Bishop returned to town last Tuesday afternoon. At the Presbyterian synod just concluded in Auckland, the Rev.
