THE PROyimAL ECCLESIASTICAL SEMINARY OF NEW ZEALAND, HOLY CROSS COLLEGE, MOSGIEL. IN conformity with arrangements made at the First Provincial Synod, held in Wellington in 1899, this Seminary has been established for the Education of Siult-ntefrbm all parts of New Zealand who aspire to the Ecclesiastical Sta f e. Holy Cross College ifl situated at Moepiel (ten miles from Dnnedin) in a fine bnildiig 1 1 itberto known as Moagiel House, which, with more than 11 sores of rich park: land surrounding it, was puroba»ert for nee as a Seminary for the Ecclesiastical Province of fi*w Zealand. Students twelve years of age and upwards will be. admitted. Candidate* for admission are reqnired to present satisfactory testimonials from the paroch al clergy, and from the superiors of schools or colleges where they may have studied. The Pension it £35 a year, pa- able half-yearly in advance. It provides for Board and Lodging, Tuition, School Books, Furniture, Bedding and House Linen. The Extra Charges are : Washing, £1 10 a a year, and Medicine and Medical Attendance if required. Students will provide their own weartrg apparel, inolading the Soutane, as well as Surplice for assistance in C^oir. The Annual Vacation begins on the 15th of Deoembor and ends on the 15th of February. The Seminary is nnder the patron^ and direction of the Archbishop and Bishops of New Zealand, and- onderctha immediate personal supervision of the Bight Rev. Bishop of Dunedin. Donations towards the establishment of Bursaries for the Free Education of Ecclesiastical Students will be thankfully, received. The College RE-OPEXKD on WEDNESDAY, February 15. The couree of studies is arranged to enable students who enter the College to pass for Matriculation, and afterwards the various Examinations for degrees.
