The Most Roy. Dr. U'Reily, Archbishop of Adelaide, will pay his ad limina visit Do Rome early next year. Of late his health has not been rollust, and it is hoped that the bracing mountain air of Miatosfielld will help him to recuperate. The Rev. Father F. Mermer takes Father Mangan's place at St. Joseph's, Collmgwood.

Un that day, after High Mass lias been celebrated in St Mary's Cathedral, the clergy of the Archdiocese will as&|?)mble and present his Emiiiesice with an illuminated address and a marble bust of his Eminence by tlhe well-iknown sculptor, Air. Nels/on Illingworth. The mjark of a,ppreciatio>n s-Uould serve to recall the long and hanorod caree(r ot his Eminent c t/he Cardinal to the sajnettaary. It will be remembered that the celebration of his Eminence's Jubilee was postponed so as to coinciide with the lejoicing over t^he Jmbilee of the Immaculate Conception, which, in tlie Sydney Archdiocese, has bean so worthily marke-d by the liquidation of the heajvy debt on St. Mary's Cathedral.

An ordination ceremony in connection with St. Patrick's College, Manly, was held at St. Mary's Catihetdral on November 30 (says the ' Catholic Press ') The followilnH were raised to the priesthood -—Rev. Fathers P. MHirfpfiy (Sydney), J. Lawless (Bcndio-o), S. Bhrchcll (MaJni|lia) and W. Mullins (Manila). Four students 1 from the Sacred Heart Fathers ' College at Kensington were also ordained priests, viz., Rev. Fathers J. Graham, F. Morell, J. Lee and J. Rouher. Tlhe ortder of deacon was Conferred on He\s. A . Mac Donald (Sydney), P. Munphy (Brisbane), and T. Kinp (S><dney) , and the following students received tionaure :— Messrs N. Mr. Calfery replied in a very modest speech, and promised on his return to take up his old offices on the church Gommittee and work as hard as he dM before. After several toasts had been duly honored Cr. Green presented Mr. Uallery with a gold Albert chain on behnalf of the Catholic church committee, and Mr. Charles Co^m presented him with a valuable pair of .razors o,n behalf of Cogan Bros, and his felltowemiployees.
