WEDDING BELLS W ARD-FITZIHA RRI S.
A quiet but pretty wedding (writes a correspondent) was celeibiratad by the Rev. Fatiher Le Floch at the Catholic Church, Timaru, on August 2, the contracting parties being Miss* Catherine Theresa Fitzharris, third daughter of Mr. John Fitzharris., of Morven, and Mr Thomas Ward, third son of Mr. Hmry WaTtd, Be-acmis-ficld, Timaru. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a blue cloth dret>s elaboratly trimmed wiUh white sill,, a Urge picture hat, and carried a sbower bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids — Miss Annastasia Fitzharris (sister of the bride), and Mis^ Florence Ward (sister of tihe bridegroom). They wore white silk dresses and hats to match. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Richard Ward. Aftar the ceremony tihe wedding party drove to the residence of the bridegroom's parents, Beacansfield, where tho ibircakfast was served in a large marquee erected on the lawn. A largp number of friends were present. The wqfdding presents we're numerous, varied, and valuable.
