There was a fairly large entry of all classes of stock at Addington, and a good attendance Fat cattle were slightly easier than the |>tevious week, as were also fat lambs. Store sheep were again in strong demanld. Fat Sheep.— There was an average yarding ol Tat sheep and the previous week's rates were well maintained, both butchers and importers competing keenly. Prime crossbred wethers, 21s to 24s 9d ; lighter, 18s 9d to 20s 6d ; prime heavy ewes, 19s to 21s 3d ; medium to good, 17s to 18s 6d ; inferior, 14s 6d to 16s. Fat Cattle.— The&entry of fat cattle totalled 204, and was of good average quality. There were few cows offered, but these met with poor demand. The bid-

Steers brought from £6 15s to £11 17s 6dheifers, £5 17s 6d to £7 12s &d ; cows, £5 to £6 7s 6d— equal to 23s to 25s for prime, and 20s' to 22s per 100 ft for secondary sorts and cows. Pigs.— There was a fair yarding of light-weight bacom pigs, but heavy-weights were scarce. Porkers were in good supply, but light- weights were easier. There weie a few large stores in, arid the small sorts sold rather better. Heavy-weight baconers made 47s to 595, afld lighter 38s to 465, equal to 4d t.o 4*d per H>, porkers, 3b"s to 425, and lighter 30s to 355," equal to 4£d to 5d per ft) ; stores, 18s to 27s ; weamers, 11s to 16s.
