Legislative Appointments

Messrs. Seymour Thorne George and Thomas Beehan (Auckland), Thomas Kennedy Macdonald (Wellington) and Henry AY i gram (Christchurch) have been called to the Upper House. Mr H. F. Wig ram is the first Mayor oi Greater Christchurch. Mr. Seymour Thorne George was formerly member for Hokitika, and was a nephew of the late Sir George Grey Mr. T.
