FRANCE.— Orders Suppressed
By 304 votes against 246 the French Chamber of Deputies refused to admit the demands for the authorisation of preaching congregations. Including teaching congregations, 54 French religious Orders have now been suppressed. Among the cond/emned Orders are the English Passionist Fathers in the A\enue Iloche
