The fifth annual sports meeting of the Okato IT. A C. B. Society was held on Mr. Doyle's land on St. Patrick's Day, and was \ery successful. The rnin which fell in the early part of the morning (says the ' Opunake Times') may ha\e had a slight effect on the attendance, but there were about 1000 persons present during the day, a large number being there from Kahotu and Opunake '1 he following were the officers of the gathering :— Pi esident, Key.
