A^ 1 " W l th l inoe T c , regret (writes a Waitahuna correspondent) that I have to chronicle the death of Mr Thomas Quilter which took place at his residence, Waitahuna Gully, on the evening of Friday, the 16th rnst. Mr Qoilter was perhaps one of the oldest residents of the district. Certainly he was one of the oldest members of the Catholic community here, and his death, at the age of 76 years, is very generally regretted. Feeling reference to his death was mide by the Very Rev. Mgr. O'Leary at Mass on Sunday The deceased leaves a widow, two sons, and a daughter— Sister Marie Reginald, of fet. Dominic's Priory, Dunedin. The funeral, on Sunday afternoon, was large and representative. Monsignor O'Learv officiated at the graveside.— R.l.P. 7
