'The Eternal City.'

Mr. Hall Caine's play ' Tha Eternal City.' was played for a week in the Theatre Royal, Dublin, towards the end of November. Everybody was anxious to see how a Dublin audience would receive the presentation on the stage of the head of the Catholic Church. From his first entrance ac Baron Bonelli, Mr. Tree enjoyed the hearty good-will of the house. There was not a whisper of disapproval. At the conclusion of the performance, Mr. Tree, who was received with loud cheers, thanked the audience on behalf of Mr. Hall Came and himself for the warmth of the reception.
