WEDDING BELLS.
FENNESsY— MALONE,
On Monday morning, July 7, a wedding which excited a good deal of local interent was celebrated in St. Mary's Catholic Church Ivoxburgh, the contracting parties being Miss M. Malone, youngest daughter of Mr E. Malone, Roxbmgh, and Mr J. FennSnr second son of Mr M. Fenne-y, Na.seby. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Gearj, who also celebrated a Nuptial Mass. The bridesmaids were Miss Laloli and Miss Moran, and Mr Frank 1 aUi was best man. Tha bride looked charming in a costume of sea green mlk, and wore the customary wreath and veil The bridegroom* gifts to the bride were a gold watch and chain, and to e»-ne »-n of the bridebinaids a gold band rine and brooch. After the ceremony a lar^e number of yuests as-embled at the residence of Mr E. Malone where the wedding bre.kfast was l.ud. Several toa«ts were proposed, and speeches expneHveof the h. K h esteem in which -he newly-wedded couple waa he.d were delivered. Ihe wedding presents were valuable, and useful, and their number and variety showed the respect in which ie re <?P"»ntß were held by their many friends. Later in the day Mr and Mrs Fennessy left for Lawrence on their way to Dunedin where the honeymoon was to be spent, taking with them the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
