Messrs. Donald Reid and Co report as follows :—: — There was a large attendance of buyers, ajid nearly all lines catalogued met with good competition, and were quitted at satisfactory a allies. Oats. — During the past week there has been keen demand for all classes. Prime milling oats are scarce, and readily secure top prices. For good to best feed the demand has been keen, and prices show a slight advance on late quotations. We quote : Prime milling, 2s 6Jd to 2s 7 id , good to best feed, 2s 5d to 2s 6^d „ inferior and medhifln, 2s Id to 2s 4d per bushel (sacks extra). YVTieat. — The market is barely supplied with milling quality. Most of the new season's crop now coming to hand is more or less damaged, and except in a few cases only saleable for fowl wheat. We quote : Primo milling, 4s 3d to 4s 6d , medium, 3s 9d to 4s Id ; best whole fowl wheat, 3s 6d to 3s 8d ; inferior and medium. 3s to 3s 5d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes — The market has been moderately supplied, and nearly all good ' hues on offer have realised prices m advance of last quotations.
