Long-lived Fish.

There are some goldfish in Washington which have belonged to the same family for the last 50 years, and they seem no bigger and no less vivacious to-day than they did when they first came into the owner's possession. A few of the fish in the Royal Aquarium at St Petersburg are known to be 150 years old, and the age of the sacred fish in some of tbe ponds attached to the Buddhist temples in China is to be counted by centuries, if we are to believe the priests.
