Addinoton Stock Mabket. The entries at the Addington market comprised 4000 fat sheep, 3G71 fat lambs, 11,850 store sheep, 400 cattle, and 350 pigs. Fat Cattle— lsB bead yarded, mostly light weights. Bidding was erratic, and beef was easier. Oood to prime realised 20s 6d to 223 6d, and others 17s fid to 20s. Steers sold at from L 6 12a 6d to LI) 10s ; heifers, L 5 17s fid to L 7 17s fid, and up to L 8 10s for extra prime ; cowb, L 4 5s to L 7 12s 6d. Store cattle were easier. Fat Sheep — These were mostly inferior, and of secondary quality, and prices for all sorts were easier. Best wethers brought from 17s 6d to 19s 3d ; others, down to 16s ; best ewes, 14a to 16s 6d ; others, 9s to 13s. Fat lamb 9 were fully Is lower, the prices realised being 13s 6d to 15s fid for prime quality; inferior and others. 11s to 12a 6d. Store Sheep — These were mostly rough sorts, and prices were easier, but good sh< ep about held their own. Good wethers brought from His to lfis 2d ; inferior Chatham Islanders, 10s 7d to 11s lOd ; good young ewe«, lfis to l'Js ; medium, 12s to 14s 6d ; inferior, 10i 3d. Lambs sold rather better at from lla 2d to 12s 7d. Pigs — There was a short supply of fats, which caused a brisk Bale. Baconers brought 35s to 46s>. or 3£d per lb ; porkers, 22s to 33s 6d, or 3;|d per lb. Strong stores were in demand for etubbling at from 12s to 25s ; and small pig*, which were not wanted, brought from 8a to 1 Is.
