One of the best unpaced performances of the year was accomplished by Harry Green, the well known Silverdale rider, recently. In essaying to establish an unpaced record between London and Liverpool, he not only beat the standard time by three and a half hours but covered the distance in 1 1 hours, which is 43 minutes better than Neason's motor-paced record.
