Addinqton Stock Market. The entries at Addington were :— 2200 fat sheep, 100 fat lambs, 5000 store sheep, 241 cattle, 314 pigs. Fat Cattle — 150, mostly good to prime sorts, yarded. There was a keen demand, and prices were fully upheld. Good to prime beef, 22s 6d to 25s per 1001 b ; other, 19s to 22s ; prime steers, L 9 to Lll 15s ; others, L 6 12s 6d to L 8 10s ; prime heifers, L97s6d to Lll 2s 6d ; others, L 6 12s 6d to L 8 10a ; best cows, L 8 to L 9 17s 6d ; others, L 5 to L 7 10a. Dairy Cattle — A mixed entry ; a good sale for young oowi at L 5 to L 7 ; others, L 2 15s to L 4 10s.

Store Cattle — There was nothing very good, but anything forward sold well. Two-year-old steers, L3Bsto L 3 15« ; do mixed cattle, L 3 9s to L 3 los ; 18-months (mixed sexes), L 2 17a 6d ; rough yearlings, 20s ; dry cows, L 2 15s to L 4 15a. Fat Shekp — The yarding mcl tided some very good prime sheep, both in the wool and shorn, and good merino wethers. There wae keen competition between butchers and freezers for all suitable lines, and, if anything, prices hardened towards the end of the sale. Prime heavy wethers, 24s to 26s ; freezing quality and mixed sexes, 20s to 23s ; lighter, 17s to 19s ; shorn wethers, 16s to 18s 9d ; do ewtw, Ho Cd tc ]Ss !ld ; merino wpthers. 13s to 19a 3d. Fat Lambs — Mostly good Borts. There was a keen demand, firsts being taken for export at 12« { >d to IGp. the maioritv brinsinc 14s to 15b 6d. Stobe Sheep — The yarding was the largest for some time. With the exception of a few lines all sold. Wethers (in the wool), 18s 7d ; shorn do, 11s Id to 13s 6d ; about GOO Chatham Islands, 13s 2d to 14s 2d ; hoggets (in wool), 13s 8d to 14s 7d ; sound-mouthed, dry ewes (in wool), 12a lid ; ewes and lambs (in wool), 9s 5d to 10a lOd ; shorn do, 9s (all counted). Pias— All classes were well represented. Last week's rates were fully maintained, baconers from 31s 6d to 40s, equal to 3|d to 3 Jd per lb ; porkers, 22s to 30s 6d, averaging 3Jd per lb ; stores, 12s to 18s 6d ; suckers and weaners, 5s 9d to lla 6d.
