Dunedin Horse Saleyards.
Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :—: — Saturday, being a race day, was practically an off day in the horse saleyards, There is & good inquiry for upstanding hacks and harness horses. We quote :—: — Superior young draught geldings, L 45 to L 55 ; extra good prize horses, L 55 to L7O ; medium draught mares and geldings, L3B to L 44 ; aged do, L3O to L 36 ; upstanding carriage horses, L2O to L3O , well-matched carriage pairs, L6O to L7O ; strong spring-van horses, L26toL 33 ; milk-cart and butchers' order-cart horses, LI 4 to L2O ; tram horses, Ll2 to Llfi ; light hacks, LlO to Ll2 ; extra good hacks, LlB to L 25 ; weedy and aged hacks and harness horses, L 2 to L 5.
