The Governor of New South Wales and his private secretary visited the Cardinal Archbishop of Sydney at Manly the other day, and were deeply interested in the literary and artistio treasures of the palace and the college. The Governor has himself many rare treasures from old monasteries, and he has long been anxious to see the Cardinal's books and pictures. His Eminence has one of the richest private libraries in Australia. The Btudents of St. Patrick's presented an address to his Excellency.
