Sheep — 2268 penned, prices ruling firm at" last week's rates. Best crossbred wethers sold at 19a fid to 21s 9d ; medium to good, 17s to 19s 3d ; best ewes, 17s 6d to 19s 3d ; medium, 15s 6d to 17s. Lambs — 1284 penned, there being a steady demand for aU offering at last week's prices. Best lambs, 12s 6d to 14s ; medium, 11s to 12s 3d.
