(Per special favour Messrs. Stronaoh Bros, and Morris.) Wednesday, 5 p.in Fat Cattle — Iti3 head yarded, prices ruling slightly easier than last week. Best bullocks sold at L7ssto L 8 17s 6d ; medium, L 0 to L 7 10s ; best cows and heifers, L 5 10s to L 6 17s (id ; medium, LI 5a to L 5 7s 6d. Sheep — 2268 penned, prices ruling firm at" last week's rates. Best crossbred wethers sold at 19a fid to 21s 9d ; medium to good, 17s to 19s 3d ; best ewes, 17s 6d to 19s 3d ; medium, 15s 6d to 17s. Lambs — 1284 penned, there being a steady demand for aU offering at last week's prices. Best lambs, 12s 6d to 14s ; medium, 11s to 12s 3d. Pigs — 152 forward, the demand being very dull and prices in favor of buyers. Suckers sold at 4s to 7s ; slips, lls to 13a ; stores, 15s to 18s ; porkers, 25s to 30s ; bacouers, 32s to 40s ; heavy pigs, up to 61s.
