From Wednesday, 20th December, 1899, to Tuesday, 9th January, 1900, inclusive, FAST PASSENGER TRAINS Will run daily (Sundays excepted) as under: — DUNEDIN TO OAMARU. Dunedin depart 10.20 a.m., Waitati 11.23 a.m., Seacliff 11.50 a.mWaikouaiti, 12.9 p.m., Palmerston, 12.35 p.m., Hampden 1.14 p.m. Herbert 1.39 p.m., Maheno 1.49 p.m., Oamaru arrive 2.10 p.m. This train will stop at the stations named, and at Upper Port Chalmers, Shag Point Junction, and Hillgrove to pick up passengers for Oamaru, also to pick up and set down passengers for and from stations at which train stops. OAMARU TO CHRISTCHURCH. Oamaru depart 2.25 p.m., Christchurch arrive 8.25 p.m. This train will take passengers for Glenavy, Studholme, Makikihi, St. Andrews, Timaru, Temuka, Winchester, Orari, Rangitata, Hinds, Ashburton, Chertsey, ftakaia, Dunsandel, Rolleston, Hornby, and Christchurch. OAMARU TO DUNEDIN. ' Oamaru depart 4.40 p.m., Mabeno 5.6 p.m., Herbert 5.19 p.m. Hampden, 5.44 p.m., Palmerston 6.26 p.m., Waikouaiti 6.49 p.m. Seaoliff 7.18 p.m., Waitati 7.37 p.m., Dunedin arrive 8.30 p.m. This train will stop at the stations named, and at Hillgrove, Shag Point Junction, and Upper Port Chalmers to pick up passengers for Dunedin, also to pick up and set down passengers for and from stations at which the train stops. ALTERATIONS TO ORDINARY TRAINS. The following alterations in the ordinary Time Table will be observed from Wednesday, 20th December, 1899, till Tuesday, 9th January, 1900, inclusive :—: — Holiday Exoursion Tickets will not be issued for, nor will return halves of such tickets be available by the North Express train, excepting from stations south of Oamaru to stations north of Oamaru. Holiday Excursion Tickets will not be issued for, nor will return halves of Buoh tickets be available by the South Express train, excepting from stations north of Oamaru to stations south of Oamaru. The train usually leaving Oamaru for Kurow at 4 p.m. will not leave until 4.30 p.m., running 30 minutes later than Time Table times to destination. The train usually leaving Oamaru for Ngapara and Tokarahi at 4.30 p.m. will Will not leave until 4.50 p.m., running to destination and back to Oamaru 20 minutes later than Time Table times. The train usually leaving Oamaru for Palmerston at 4.10 p.m. will not leave until 5.55 p.m., Maheno 7.0 p.m., Herbert 7.25 p.m., Hampden 8.0 p.m., arriving Palmerston 9.20 p.m. The train usually leaving Palmerston for Oamaru at 5.32 p.m. will not leave until 5.40 p.m., Hampden 6.50 p.m., Herbert 7.22 p.m., Maheno 7.44 p.m., arriving Oamaru 8.15 p.m. By Order,
