The Grainbrokers' Association report as follows :—: — Oats — The last day or two there has been a boom in the market, inquiries coming in very freely. Prices will probably advance immediately, but in the meantime quotations are : Is 6 id for A grade, Is s|d for B, and Is 4sd for C (f.o.b. Bluff, sacks in). Linseed— Lll to Lll 10s per ton (f.0.b., sacks in). Fowl Wheat— Quotations are per bushel 2a Id (f.0.b., sacks in). The demand is brisk. Invercargill prices current: — Wholesale : Butter,fresh,Bd; cheese farm, 3£d ; bacon, farm, 7d; do (rolled), farm, 6d; hams, 8d ; eggs, 6d per doz ; potatoes, LI 10s per ton ; barley, 2s to 2a 6d ; fowl wheat, 2s ; chaff, L 2 per ton ; flour, L 8 ; oatmeal, L 9 to LlO ; pollard, L 3 ; bran, L 2 10d, including bags.
