KING'S COUNTY. - Death cf the Very Rev Dr bhendan-— Canon bhendan, V.G., died at his residence, Ferbane, near Birr, on March 2C. Completing his course in Maynooth Canon Sheridan was ordained in ls.v,, to :* curacy in Longford, and subsequently became parish priest of Drumshambo, Leitrim, whence he was transferred 2", years ago to the important parish of Gallen, of which he was in charge ar the time ot his death. WATERFORD.-White Gloves for the Judge.-At the opening of the City Conn of Waterford Assizes, before Lord Chief Justice OUncn, Mr W. G. I).
