MRS. BRUCE.

The death of Mrs. Bruce of the Thames which occurred on the 24th September, was the occasion of most feeling tributes to her memory by Father O'Reilly at both Masses at St. Francis on Sunday, 25th September. The deceased lady had been organist at St. Francis for" many years and was among the first children of Mary of the parish besides having been an active member of the Society of the Sacred' Heart. A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Bruce was offered up on the Monday following, the very large congregation present attesting to the esteem in which the deceased lady was held. — H.I.P.
