PBOSP EC TUB OF ST PATRICK'S COLLEGE, WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND. CONDUCTED BY THE MARIST FATHERS. Under the special patronage of bis Grace the Most Rev Francis Redwood, S.M., D.D., Archbishop of Wellington. President, the Most Rev Dr. Redwood, S.M. ; Rector, the Very Bey Dr. Watters, S.M. St. Patrick's College is intended to afford the youth of New Zealand a sound liberal education, while furnishing all those safeguards of religion, without which edncation ceases to be an advantsge. Tbe conrse of education, classical, scientific, and mercantile, is traced in the programme of studies. A special course is provided, in which students are taught everything needful for mercantile pursuits. Studentß are prepared for Civil Service, Law, University, and Musical Examinations. A large and well appointed gymnasium has been added to the College, giving the students facility for developing muscular power. A select library is at tbe disposal of the students during the honrs set apart for reading. Vacation is given twice a year, in June and December. One term's notice is required before tbe withdrawal of a student. The religious edncation of tbe Btudents will be attended to as a matter of tbe first and greatest importance. Non-Catholic students are required to attend the common exercises of religion, and coniform to the ordinary rules of the College, OUTFIT FOR BOARDERS. Each Intern Student requires the following sutfit :— Two ordinary sniti of clothing for week days, one dark snit for Sundays, six day shirts, three night shirts, six pairs socks, six pocket handkerchiefs, three table napkins, two pairs boots, one pair slippers, two pairs of sheets, four pillow castß, six towels, combs, brushes, and other dressing articles, one silver spoon, knife, fork, and napkin ring. TERMS. BOARDERS — All Intern Pupils, 40 Guineas per annum, Entrance Fee (payable once only), 3 Gnineas, DAY BOH OLA BS— Preparatory School, 6 Guineas per annum, College, 9 Guineas per annum. EXTRAS (per annum) : — Music, 8 Guineas ; Drawing, 3 Guineas ; Shorthand, 3 Guineas ; Washing, 1 Guinea ; Stationery, comprising use of copy books, exercises, letter paper, etc 1 Guinea. A charge of Nine Guineas per annum extra is made for day scholars who dine at tbe College. A reduction of 10 per cent is made in favour of brothers, whether boarders or day scholars. No reduction may be expected in the ctse of absence or withdrawal before tbe end of a term. For further particulars, application may may be made to the President, the Rector of the College, the Mariat Fathers, and the Local Clergy.
