Weight, Stephenson and Co. report as follows : — The demand this week was very slack for all clsssea of horseS| but as there were very few fresh colts arUerti'ed a large alt°ndance of buyers could not have been expected. Most of the sales made were of draughts, for which there was a limited demand from town buyers. Hackß and harness horses were very poorly represented, and, as his been the case for some time past with inferior horses of this class, there was no demand. We quote : For first-class dranorhta, (extra heavy), £25 to £30 : good ordinary dranghtß (young) LlB to L 22 ; medium, do, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged do, L6to L 10;1 0; good hacks and harness horsep, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium do, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior do, L 2 10a to L 5.
