Store Wethers— Us to 13s for very fresh ; ordinary, 93 6d to 10* 61. Ewes in lamb, a good enquiry, and we have sold at 8a to 8i 6d ; young ewes in lamb, 10a to lls 6d, all good quality. Hoggets, have placed all offering, and demand for more at up to 9a 6d for good lots, 6a to 7s for medium. Fat Oattle — We can place all offering at market values, and quote, prime beef, 20i to 21s per 100 lbs. Store Cattle — All coming forward are selling freely, now that the late fine weather has caused the grass to spring;. Weaners, 17a 6i ; yearlings, 40s , two-year-old steers, L 3 ; three-year-olds, L 4 to L 4 15i. Dairy Cows — Still a good demand for young cows, and even aged cows are Belling freely if just calved or close to calving. Aged, L 5 to L 5 10s ; yonng, L 7 to L 8 10s. Horses — We held our usual weekly horse sale last Saturday, good attendance, and moderate entry. For good express and light harness horses there was a fair demand. No draughts were entered, but a few buyers were in the yard. The few sales were unimportant. We quote, good heavy draughts, Ll9 to L 22 ; medium, Ll4 to Ll6 ; good expresl horses, active, and wiihsome weight, Ll2 to LI S ; aged sorts, L 6 to LlO. Sheepskins— The late favourable weather has brought new demand, and we can now place all coming forward at better prices. Tallow— lßa to 209 for best ; medium, 15a to 16a. Wheat— Fowl wheat, 2* 6d to 2a 9d. Oatn— Quiet, Is 91 to Is 10£ d for best. We sold aline of off colour by auctioo at Is 7d (bags extra). Potatoes— Plentiful supply, slack demand, market falling. Pioparty — We have enquiries for bakers' businesses, also for hotels, and have some sales pending.
