Mnuns. Weight, Stbphbnson ajstd Co. report as follows :— The entry at oar sale on Saturday consisted of about equal number of draught* and light harness horses. For the latter there was almost no demand, but for draughts and springcart horses there was • good inquiry, and nearly every horse for which reasonable ressrves were asked changed bands at good prioes. Next SatHrday we hsall hold a special sale of draught horses for which we have already 25 catered, including a draft af first-class working horses from Messrs J. •nd 8. Wilson rot Fairlie Greek, South Canterbury). Full particulars will be advertised in the Times and Witnett. We quote : First-
class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughs, (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts L 6 to LlO ; good backs and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium do L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior do, L 2 10a to L 5.
