Prime wethers, heavy weights, have sold up to 16s j medium, 13a 6d to Us 6d ; light, 11s to 12s ; fat ewec, Us 6d tj 12* 61 for good weights. Store Sheep — withers sellingfreely. Very fresh, lls 61 to 125 61 ; ordinary, 9s 6d toloi6l. Hogjets — Have placed all offering, and' demand for more. Uood lots, up to 83 6d ; medium, 63 to 7a, even culls »re selling row. Fat Cattle — We can placi all offering at market values up to 19s per 100 lbs. Store Cattle — Good demand, have sold everything, Weantrs, up to 26s 6d ; yearlings, 40s ; twu-year-uld steera, L 3 ; three-year-olds L 4 to L 4 10j. Dairy Cows— Big demand, cannot supply half of it. We held a clearing sale of dairy cows and plant on Mr Burbridge'a farm, Lower Hutt, on the Ist August. There was a large attendance of buyers more than we have seen present at a dairy sale for many a day, show* ing tbat dairying is the oming industry. We have orders on oar books for a large number of cows and heifers. We sold 20 young cows just calved and close to cavlirjg, L 6 to LlO s* ; the aveiage for 20 yourg cows being L 7 5«, and the avurage for 30 cows being juit L 6, a very good record indeed. Aejed cows, a few of them being very old, brought from L 3 to L 4 15s ; crossbred bull, L 2 15s ; calves LI 7s 6d ; aged trap horßec, L2to L 2 10< ; trap horse, L 6 ; yonng' ducks, 59 per pair. S F. plough, L 2 15s ; milk refrigerator, L 2 15s ; stack oaten hay, L 5 ; meadow hay, LI 10a; 20 milk cans, 5s each*.

A fair demard exists for good young express and light harness horses, bnt not for high priced draughts. We sold aged draughts, at Ll3 to L\4 ; three-year-old colt, half-draugh», Lll 10s ; hacks, L 6 15s and 15 ; good light harness horses Ll2 10 i to Ll4. Sheepskins— Plenty off ring, but buyers nre shy. and have to be coaxed to give anything like value. Prices rem aim firm. Tallow— Best, 18s to 20s; medium, Iss to 16s. Wheat — Milling, no business ; fowl wheat, 2a 61 to 2s Bi. Oats— Quiet. Best, Is 9 J to Is 10£ d, Potatoes— Plentiful supply. Table, 50j ; seed, L 3 10 j to L 5 according to kind. Chaff— Plenty offering, 65* to 70s. Property— No sales to repon. Still an enquiry, particularly from the south, for moderate improved farms. Town Property — Plenty of enqu'ries for 4 and 5 roomed bandy and convenient cottages, also 7 and 9 roomed bouses.
