Tbe Redemptorist Fathers opened a mission in St. Mary's church, Manchester street, Chnstchnrcb, on Sunday. Tenders have been accepted for the erection of a school in tbe parish.
The election of a handsome crucifix in tbe pro-cathedral will take place at Easter as a commemoration of the Redemp orist Mission recently given there.
Miss Crawford's Commercial and Family Hotel, Palmers ton North, will be found by visitor* and travellers, and all who patronise it, a ?ery comfortable, convenient, and well-conducted house.
