A very satisfactory tone prevail?, all offering being readily placed. Orown bollocks in forward condition have the preference, and any such offering do not fail to realise prices, leaving bat a very small margin for finishing cff. Mixed sorts and all agrs are in good request, and fetch prices invariably in favour of seller*. Store Sheep— A moderate amount of business is passing in these daring the week. Several large auction sales have been held in the country, all of which were fairly well atten led. Good sound young crossbreds and merino are Baleable, but aged sorts are more difflcalt to place. Sheepskins— A verj steady market exists for these, all coming to hand »re fairly well competed far, and realise prices quita in sympathy with those obtaining a' Home for the ekios exported. Wheat — The past week has been quite as quiet as the preceding one. Inquiries are amtll, and then only for extra prime velvet, small parcels of which could now be placed at our quotations. Medium milling qualities are offering more freely with but little demand. Fowl wheat (whole) ia also more plentiful, and a good Heal easier in price, and likely to go lower still.
