Greasy and scoured merino, superior and scoured merino, medium and inferior, Id to I£J per lb decline : greasy merino, medium and inferior, Jd to Id decline ; greasy crossbrtd, fine and medium, £d to Id decline ; greasy croepbred, coarse, £d decline ; scoured and washed crossbred, medium and coarse, £d to Id decline ; greasy lambs, crossbred, £d decline. There is nothing doing in the local market beyond the placing of fellmonger's get up, and for which there are buyers leaving but little margin to the purchaser. Bheepskins — Moderately fair supplies came forward for the weekly sales on Tuesday. Wheat — The aspect of the market so far as this staple ia con. cerned ia not very encouraging to holders, latest cablegram* from Home continue to report unfavourably on the position there. Oats — The market remains comparatively steady. Potatoes — Trie arrivals keep pretty well in touch with requirements, pricea in consequence remain steady. Beat dervvents, L 5 to L 5 5a ; extra lot?, a little more ; kidneys for seed, L 4 15a to L 5 10i, ex store, Backs weighed id, net. Chaff — A fuller supply has been on the market during the paßt week, in consequence only really good parcels reach last week's high prices. Best, 67s 6d to 72s 61 ; medium, 45s to 35a ; inferior, 27s Gd to 35s per ton, ex track, Backs extra, net. Dairy Produce — Prime salt butter, dairy made, slow sale at 6d to 7d ; medium, 4d to 51 ; factory, 10J to lid per lb. Factory cheese, xnedibm size and loaf respectively, 5d and s^i ; dairy made, 2d to 4d per lb.

Messes Stbonach Beos. and Mobbis report aa follows .-— Babbitekina — Market unchanged, Good competition. Best winter grey does, 16^d ; others in proportion. Sheepskins — Values somewhat easier owing to tbe reports of pelt market at home. Wool — Advices to hand report a lobs of about 5 per cent for all Borta of merino at third series opening on June 20. Wheat unchanged ; market depressed. Best milling Is lid. Oats demand good prices. Firm up to 2s 2d for prime milling. Chaff— Supply short. Prime. £3 12s 6d per ton. Fat Cattle— Scarce. Best bullocks to £12 2s 6d, Fat Bheep.— Burnside well supplied. Best croesbred wethers to 18s 6d.

Messes Donald Reid and Co. report aa follows -.— Sheep — Small entry, Ewet?, in low condition, 33 lid ; merino wethers at 5a lid. Sheepskins — Large catalogue. Buyers were not keen to operate and prices all round showed a decline of Id to 6d a akin. Rabbitßkin8 — Competition exceedingly brisk, all descriptions of ekins meeting a good sale.

Hides — No quotable change. Tallow — Prices firm at late quotations. Wheat — Fowls' wheat is scarce nnd commands ft ready sale. We quote — Prime milling, 2a ICKI to 3a ; inferior, 2a Si to 2a 9d ; fowl wheat, 29 3d to 2a 7d. Oats— Seed qualities. 2a 2£d to 3s 3 J (in lines) ; bright abort oats, 23 Id to 33 2d ; discoloured, Is lid to 2j ; inferior, Is 9d to 18 lOd.
