Mebsbs. weight, Stephbnson axd Co. report as follows :-— A moderately large number of bones were offered at our Saturday's Bale, and as there was a good attendance of buyers, a fairly large portion of them changed hands. Consignments of good useful horses of almost any description would meet with a very good sale just now. We quote :— For first-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary (young), LlB to L 22; medium, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged, L 6 to L 10;1 0; good hacks and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior, L 2 10s to L 5. Chaff : Market, bare supply— £l 10s Od to £2 12s 6d ; hay, oaten, £3 0s ; ryegrass, £3. Bran, £3 Oe. Pollard, £3 16. Potatoes, kidneys, unsaleable ; dement*, £1 Os to £1 6s Od. Flour ; roller, £10 0s to £10 15s ; stone, value nominal, £8 15s to £9 ss. Fresh butter, 9d to Is Od ; salt, prime, Bd. Eggs, 7d. Oatmeal, £10 10s in 251bs : bulk, £10. Messrs D. C.
