An interesting recent convert to Catholicism ia Miss Ayling, a stepdaughter of Mr Jo'm Morley, M.P., who is himself by no means as autagonistic to the Catholic Church as he is usually represented to be. We understand that Miss Ayling was received into the Ctiureh*' in Pans, where she has been residing for some time in a convent. • French newspapers, which have already appropriated nearly a fourh of the English language, including such phrases as ''five o'clock," " interviewer," " meeting," " revolver," " jockey," etc., should be cartful of their spelling. The latest appropriation is " Coursing Club," only it comes oat in French " Cursing Club." No doubt it is sometimes.
