Mr Eigelow, a schoolmate of Emperor William has been ex pelled from Russia. Mr Bigelow and Frederick .Remington, the artist had planned to make a canoe voyage from St Petersburg to Berlin to secure material for magazine articles for the Messrs Harper of New York, but their boats, which had been Bent to the Russian capital, were seizad, and caunot be recovered without a delay of several weeks. The cause of the expulsion is supposed to be the ciiticism of Russian administration in Poland, given in his book on Emperor William.
