His Lord B hip has informed an Australian correspondent that, though his memory is not sufficiently good to enable him to gl ve details, his impression is that he stayed a fortnight at one gold-field aa the guest of the regimental mess, and that he only rode over to the famous Bendigo fields for od« nigbt.
