A letter lately received from the Bight Bey. Charles Jolivet, D.D., Vicar- Apostolic of Natal, speaks of the consoling progress made by the Church in the South African colony. The missionary work in the colony is directed chiefly by Oblates of Mary Immaculate and Trappist monks.
