Pigs.— A large supply came in to-day to a dull market, the entry numbering 277 met with a poor demand, and were disposed of as follows :— Slips, 8s to 14a ; stores, 16s to 18s 6d ; porkers, 20s to 25a ; bacon ers, 30s to 40a. Store Sheep. — A few lots are changing hands at late rates, but dealers are not operating with the fieedom shown a few weeks since ; scarcity of feed being probably tbe chief cause. Store Cattle. — A few inquiries are made for small lots iv forward condition for puttiug on turnips ; for other sorts the market is dullprices all round bsing in Bympathy with those obtaining for fat stock. Sheepskins.— Full catalogues were submitted to a small attendance of buyers, but, notwithstanding the absence of three of the b»st buyers, all lots offered were sold at satisfactory prices. Bidding was free and active, and prices obtained showed a slight advance on last week's quotations. We quote — Butchers' green crossbreds, 5a Id, 4a lid, 4s Bd, 4a 7d, 4a sd, 4s 2d, 4s ; good to medium, 3a lOd, 3b Bd, 3b 7d, 3* 6d, 3s 4d ; country dry skins, crossbreds, 2s 2d to 4s 3d ; merino, Is 8d to 3s 9d ; full-woolled skins, 4s 6d to 7s.

Rabbitskins.— As the colder weather comes on there ti a wry noticeable improvement in the quality of skins coming to store;— Consignments also are getting heavier, and business consequently increasing.
