With the exception of one or two pens extra prime all were sold at rates below those of last week Best bullocks brought £7 to £8 15s ; two pens heavy weight,£9 12s 6s to £10 10s ; light and medium quality, £4 to £6 12s 6d : cows from £3 10s to £7 16s. Fat Calvea.— B were yarded, young and small, which sold at 2s 6d to 5s each. Fat Sheep.— 2429 were penned, nearly all crossbreds, only about 120 merinos. The tormer comprised several lots of excellent quality There was a large attendance of the trade, and there being a good demand for export the sale was animated throughout and values improved again to the extent of Is per nead, all kinds participating in the advance. Best crossbred wetheis brought 16s to 18s 6d ; ordinary 12s to 158 6d ; best crossbred ewes 15s to 16s 3d ; ordinary, 'lls 3d :o 14s 6d ; a few shorn crossbred wether,a, up to 12s 3d ; no do ewes 9s to lls; merino wethers in the woo), 9s 3d to 10s. ' Fat Lambs. — 372 were penned. There was only a moderate demand; small and inferior were poorly competed for, and eveu for thtbest there was very little improvement in valuer. lufenor, brought 4s 6d to 5s 6d ; good to best, 6s to 8s 6d ; a few extra np to 10s 3d,

We sold on account of Messrs. Ross Bros., Bushy Park, one pen at 8s to 8s 6d. Pi?s.— There were only 6 penned. All except baconers were in improved demand. Suckers brought 10s to 12s 6d ; stores, 13a to 26a : porkers, 25s to 30a ; baconers, 38a to 4 ls. Store Cattle. — There is a fair demand for all descriptions under this head, while large-framed bullocks, well-bred, quiet, in forward condition, are in moat request ; mixjd sorts are also inquired for. The unfavourable turn in the weather is against the early growth of feed, which no doubt sornewaat interferes with business. Store Sheep. — Business in this line still continues quiet, and pendiag shearing operations there will be nothing of any consequence passing. Sheepskins. — At our regular weekly sale held on Monday, as usufcl we submitted a lenghty catalogue, comprising the usual varied assortment to hand of both dry and town butcher's green skins to a full attendance of buyers. Taere was a gooi damini, resulting in a keen competition for all the lots ou the catalogue, green skins receiving special attention, prices ou the average being higner than those of last week. Country dry crossbred*, low to medium, brought Is to 3s 41 ; do do merino, Is 2i to 3i 2\ ; dry palts, 11 to 9.1 ; butcher's green crossbreds, 4s, 43 31, 4* 61, 4<Bi,4i 10 1, ss, 5* Id, 5a 21, ss3d,s 3d, 5s 41 ; do do marino, 3* 6d,3* 91, 3s 10a, 4s, 4s Id, 4a 6d ; lambskins, 6d to Bd. Rabhitskins. — The quantity of these coming forward now is very much reduced, the aupp;y being almost destitute of really good skins. The bulk of the off : rings are nude up of spring takings and mixed weather-stained inferior sorts. Taere is little or no alteration apparent in the tone of the market. Competition continues very k;en, but there ia no improvement in values for best, the demand being merely specularive. We offered a few lots on Monday, when all the buyers were present, and competed with spirit, more animation being displayed than we have noticed for necks pa-it. Prices realised, tispeci illy for medium s >rt3, were decidedly batter. We give marks and price* -P, 1 b.le. 17$ I ; ZO. 1 do. 17d ; N and W, 4 bags, 17d : Q, 1 do, 13^ 1 ; M, 1 do. m ; N and W, 1 do, 71 ;JK in triangle, 1 do, inferior to medium, 3£l to 10£ I ; M, 1 do, do, 3£ 1 per lb. Hid^3. — There oeing no indued ment for shipping, the business done is chiefly confined to the operations of our local manufacturers, and the supply being equal to their requirements, with no outlet for export, the market in consequence contiuues flit, and no indications of an immediate improvement. We quote inferior and bulls', 11 ito 2d ; light, 2£d to 2% J ; medium, 2|i to 3*i ; heavy, 3fd to 3id par lb. Tallow. — The market continues firm, with a fair local demand existing price? :\re steady.
