PATRICK'S COLLEGE, WELLINGTON. rXIHE Solemn Cermony of Laying the Foundation Stone X of St. Patrick's College, Wellington, will take place on Sunday, March 16, eve oE the Feast of St Patrick. It is an event of vast importance to the in the great cause of Catholic Education. There will be a large gathering of clergy and faithful from all paits of the Colony, and the proceedings will be of the most impressive kind. Several bishops have kindly promised to honour the ceremony with their presence, and among them the Most Rev. Bishops of Dunedin and Auckland. The programme of the day will be the following :~ Solemn High Mass, with Orchestra Coram Episcopis, in St. Mary's Cathedral, at 1 1 o'clock — sermon by one of the bishops. At 3 p.m. ou the College grounds off Cambridge Terrace, Ceremony of laying the Foundation Stone, followed by discourses from the Bishops and the Collection at the Stone. All the Catholic schools and sodalities will assist and form a most attractive feature of the ceremony.
