Otago Land Board.— At Wednesday's mr efcing, Mr. J. Wh il burns application for a license over 80 acres, Silver Lake, Dart District, was referred to Lake County Council. The application of the Catholic School 'Committee, St. Bathan's, to acquire at a lowfigure section 43 as site for school and teacher s residence was referred to the chief surveyor. The application of the Kaitangata Town Board for section 55, block XXXI., was declined. On the application of Mr. W. L. Simpson the Board refused to alter the capital value placed on sections 7 and 8, block V , Lauder. The application o£ H. B. Flett and Johanna White to have certain sections at Table Hill offered for sale at £1 per acre -were refened to the warden. The application of K. Smith for one rood, block XVIIL. Tuapeka Bast, as a church site, was referred to the warden for a report. J. Cronan's application for. sections at Cairn Hill was declined. Consideration of S. Johnson's application to purchase section 33, block XT., was deferred for a week. J. E. Pollock's application to purchase land at Glenoamaru was referred to the ranger for a report. R. Martiri's application that section 10, block VII., Wendon, should be opened on the deferred payment system, was declined
