ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.

Tory.—We cannot state any rule on such matters, which does not admit of exceptions. Our correspondent will see in our Roman letter an instance of what Catholics may sometimes think it right to do as to recording their votes. Premium.—We received the advertisement from Messrs. Gordon and Gotch, Sydney, a most respectable firm, and are not accountable for any disappointment incurred by our correspondent. Anonymous.—As we invariably conclude that a man who does not sign Ms name writes something of whi«h he is, or ought to be, ashamed, we spare his blushes, as far as in us lies, by throwing his communication unread into our waste-paper basket.
